What data does Bresc collect from you?

If you visit Bresc.nl, Bresc.com, Bresculinair.nl en Bresculinair.com, we place cookies on the device you used to visit us (mobile, tablet or desktop).
When you submit the contact form, the data you entered will be collected and used to reply to your message.
If you complete the registration for a newsletter or inspiration update, we will save your name and email address to be able to forward it.

We collect this data on the basis of our legitimate interest, in order to provide services to visitors to our websites as efficiently as possible and to ensure that they can (continue to) use our websites as conveniently as possible. When we collect your data on the basis of your consent, you always have the right to revoke that consent, without rendering the use of your data before revocation of your consent illegal.

Bresc uses cookies and other techniques via Google Analytics on Bresc.nl, Bresc.com, Bresculinair.nl and Bresculinair.com. Cookies are small data files that are stored on the device that you use to visit our website, such as a computer, tablet, smartphone or smart watch. Wherever we refer to ‘cookies’ below, we also mean other similar techniques. Cookies make it possible to recognize your web browser. This can prove convenient, because then you don't have to enter your data again, for example. This also enables us to streamline the performance of our website, as we gain insight into visitor behaviour.

Anonymized data on surfing behaviour is collected on Bresc.nl, Bresc.com, Bresculinair.nl en Bresculinair.com using Google Analytics. This enables us to establish how visitors like you use the website. We use this data to make informed decisions about the layout of our website. We also use it to optimize the operation of the website. Google stores the data obtained on servers in the United States. Google also provides this data to advertisers to help them understand the effectiveness of their campaigns. Google may also transfer this information to third parties when required to do so by law, or wherever such third parties process the data on Google's behalf. We have no influence on this. Bresc has set Google Analytics to be privacy friendly, for example by masking the last octet of the IP address, disabling the option ‘share data with Google’ and not using other Google services in combination with Google Analytics cookies. Contact form

When you complete the contact form, we save your contact details and your message. We do this in order to follow up and process your message as adequately as possible. This is not possible without the use of this data. We retain this data until we have marked your message as 'handled', unless we are required by law to retain your data for a longer period of time, or when it is genuinely necessary to retain your data for longer in order to carry out our activities.

Subscribe to newsletter / inspiration Bresc

If you want to stay informed of Bresc news via email or would like to receive further information about special products, offers and inspiration, you can complete and forward the subscription form for the Bresc newsletter or Bresculinair newsletter on the website. We will then register your name and email address in order to execute your request. This is not possible without the use of this data. We therefore save it until you unsubscribe from our newsletter. Every newsletter you receive offers you the opportunity to unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may object to the use of your personal data, for example if you believe that the use of your personal data is not necessary for the performance of our activities or in order to comply with a legal obligation.
You have the right to request access to your data. This means that you can ask which of your personal data has been registered and for which purposes it will be used.
If you believe that we have incorrect personal data about you, you can have said data corrected. You can also ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data, also during the period we require to assess your requests and/or objections.
You can also ask us to delete your personal data from our systems.
Finally, you can ask us to transfer your personal data to a third party.

You can submit the aforementioned requests or objections by sending an e-mail to c.bloem@bresc.nl. Please ensure that you enclose a copy of your proof of identity in your letter, so that we can verify that you are actually the person submitting the request or objection. Please do not to forget to make your citizen service number (BSN) on the copy of your identity document illegible before sending it to us. We will reply to your request or objection within one month.

If we fail to resolve the issue together with you, you always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
